Project Awestruck: A High School Community Service Event

Through Jesus Christ, you have the opportunity, a calling, to make an impact on the world. The calling: Being the hands and feet of the one who has created you. The master the world entrusts his followers to go. God will be using you in this service project that is directly connected to our weekend festival experience. What a great opportunity to serve Jesus and others directly before OR directly after a music festival.

Youth directors, through the Holy Sprit, your youth with be transformed during these service days as the build relationships with their other youth group members, with other youth from around the country, and with each other. Maybe it will be visiting nursing homes, maybe it will be reroofing a home for the poor, or perhaps it will be serving food at a homeless shelter. Youth have the opportunity to select their own projects to either use their gifts or to step out of their comfort zone.

The cost is very inexpensive as we count on the community churches and businesses to supply us with all food, which means there is no such thing as a food cost in our price. We aren’t shacking up in a fancy hotel as the youth will experience what it’s like to not have the luxuries they have of a bed or bedsprings, so no cost their. Our trained and gifted staff serve this experience on a volunteer basis, so again, no funds needed here. The money will be used for all items needed to serve the community in the name of Jesus.

So what’s the price? $50 per youth! End of story.

In summary, Fifty dollars will allow your youth to experience 3 or 4 days of focusing on their relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through service to the community with youth from all around. They will be able to blessed by the community who see a need for this service as they have their meals prepared for them at area churches. They will be able to spend one-on-one times with their youth director, their friends, and with God. Whether they swim in the camp’s lake, play volleyball at our Service Project celebration, or hoop it up at night at the local high school’s basketball court, your youth with experience the power and love of God.
