One of our 5 pillars of Awestruck’s faith based community is Confession.  Being able to freely confess our weaknesses only to freely receive God’s amazing grace!

Awestruck Voice is designed to pray and give advice during struggles, celebrate when you need someone to celebrate with you, and answer any questions you may have but aren’t sure who to go to for answers OR feel uncomfortable asking someone else BUT you desire a human response.

We aren’t hear for conversation but we are here to quickly answer, quickly pray, quickly guide, and quickly lead you to hearing God’s forgiveness!

How does this work?

  1. Simply fill out and submit the form below.  You will find that you can be as anonymous as you desire.
  2. If you desired a response, we will be getting back to you within the next week whether you requested a personal e-mail or, to those who wish to remain anonymous, a response which will be provided below.  After about a week, posts will be taken down.

It’s that simple!  Here is the form.

Here are our replies to some of the responses we have gotten from those who wish to remain anonymous but wanted a reply.

To Godschild11:

“Thank you for trusting us in this response.  I am going to publicly post your letter to us because I think it is amongst the most popular private struggles Christians face.

I have had problems with pornography and that has led to other sexual sins. I always new what I was doing was wrong but I couldn’t stop. I know the bible says to confess your sins to one another and to pray for one another, but I just couldn’t tell anyone because I was too ashamed and scared of the judgment i would face. I know in my heart that I am born again and going to have eternal life, but I need guidance through this struggle because I know it is stunting the growth of my relationship with God. This is the first time I have ever had the courage to confess this to anyone and I am already starting to feel peace typing this. I would really appreciate your praying for me and keeping this anonymous. I really need guidance, prayer and advice. Thank you so much.”

It is my belief that this is one of the most popular and secretive ways Satan uses to destroy God’s favorite part of creation, us.  The struggle is real and it impacts us and others in so many ways!  The great thing about it all is that Jesus’ primary mission was to purify the world, and He does so by forgiving us as swiftly as possible.  So know this: Jesus forgives you.  Also know that many pastors and youth leaders have this very same struggle.  You would be surprised by the number of people that struggle daily with it.  Our opinion, pray for God to give you an accountability partner, whether it be a pastor, youth leader, or good Christian friend to meet weekly to talk about struggles.

One exercise I have given to others and used with my own accountability partners is this question dialogue (this dialogue can work in any situation):

1) After praying ask, “How was your week?”

 2) Is there anything you need to confess?

3) What there anything going on in life that led into that temptation (whether tired, stressed, or some lustful image you may have seen?)

4) Do you know you are forgiven and have you prayed about it and confessed your sins to God?

5) What can you do next time instead?

6) Did you lie in any of the above questions?

I can’t tell you how many times I have had to start the whole dialogue over because I lied to my accountability partner.  (I can’t tell you how many times I said I wasn’t lying to my accountability partner when I answered that question either.)  Let’s keep one thing straight, Jesus is Truth and only in Truth is a problem able to be properly remedied.  You are only hurting yourself (and your accountability partner…and others) if you are lying through this process.  It may happen but pray for honesty and trust.  I have had nearly 10 accountability partners and NONE of them ever broke my trust.  Even if they did, God never breaks trust, but I believe God will give us other disciples to help us with our earthly endeavors.

My prayers are for you!  If you have the finances, I strongly consider a online purity program put out by  It is a battle, the struggle is real, and God is bigger.
